GUILLERMO MARRERO
Visual Merchandising & Experiential Designer
I’m a multidisciplinary designer with over six years of experience in visual merchandising, digital design, and spatial storytelling. My work blends 2D and 3D disciplines — from developing brand identity systems and retail floor plans to crafting immersive in-store experiences and compelling visual displays.
Originally from New York City, I earned my AAS in Communication Design (2018) and BFA in Spatial Experience Design (2020) from the Fashion Institute of Technology. During my time at FIT, I took on real-world merchandising challenges in advanced studio courses, producing everything from design presentations and elevations to floor plans and physical models.
Professionally, I’ve led visual direction for brands like Reebok, where I managed seasonal floor sets, window displays, and visual budgets for high-volume retail. At Tarte Cosmetics, I helped design gondola displays, fixture presentations, and 3D merchandising layouts that brought product stories to life. I also curated and directed Rerooted, my senior capstone exhibition, which allowed me to merge my passions for concept development, spatial design, and emotional storytelling.
I’m currently based in Orlando, Florida, and I’m always looking to connect with teams and brands that value design-driven experiences and thoughtful environments. Whether it's retail, events, or branded spaces — I believe great design starts with intention and ends in impact.
